8. SMS & Text Messaging Communications
Program Description
Avid Urgent Care operates an SMS messaging program for direct, two-way operational and customer care communication with clients. This is not a promotional or mass-marketing campaign. Text messages are sent only in direct response to, or as a necessary part of, an active customer inquiry, transaction, or service request.
Types of Messages You May Receive
- Customer care responses: Direct replies from our team to questions or issues you submitted through our website, contact forms, or support channels.
- Appointment updates: Confirmation that your appointment request has been received, processed, or scheduled.
- Scheduling coordination: Confirmations or changes to appointments or service arrangements you have initiated.
- Account notifications: Alerts directly related to your account, such as account verification or access updates.
- Operational support: Follow-up communication from our team in connection with an open service request or outstanding matter.
We do not send unsolicited promotional, advertising, or marketing text messages.
Opt-In and Consent
You must affirmatively opt in to receive SMS messages by checking the consent checkbox on our contact, registration, or inquiry forms. Your mobile number will not be enrolled in our SMS program without your express written consent. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from us.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and is determined solely by the nature and volume of your interactions with us. Messages are sent only in direct response to or as part of an active customer conversation or transaction. We do not operate a scheduled or automated broadcast messaging program.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation; no further messages will be sent to that number.
- Emailing [email protected] with a written opt-out request.
- Calling us during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm CST) — see contact information in our footer.
Opt-out requests will be processed within one (1) business day. You may re-enroll at any time by re-submitting the consent checkbox on any form.
